A recap of the evening of the Partners Club of the Fondation Toulouse Cancer Santé

In May 2024, Matthieu Jeandel, Chairman of Foundation Unlimited, attended the "Fondation Toulouse Cancer Santé" Partners' Club evening.

In May 2024, Matthieu Jeandel, Chairman of Foundation Unlimited, attended the “Fondation Toulouse Cancer Santé” Partners’ Club evening.

It was an opportunity for our chairman to accompany Doctor Clément Larrue, who presented the ‘Chair of Integrated Research into the Treatment of Acute Leukaemia’, known as the ‘CRISTAL – Unlimited Chair’, funded by our foundation.

We will be supporting this research programme on acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) for 3 years.

Acute myeloid leukaemia is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. This disease leads to the destruction of blood tissue, causing serious haemorrhaging and severe infections.

The research project proposed by our Foundation Unlimited aims to better understand the cellular mechanisms that promote resistance to therapies in AML and to discover new vulnerabilities in cancer cells.

We are very proud to support this project led by Dr Clément Larrue and Prof Christian Récher, in the METAML laboratory of the CRCT (Centre de Recherches en Cancérologie de Toulouse).
